How to Remove Your Masks

We all play different roles in our lives that may change from moment to moment. Each role depicts an emotional state we may be feeling at the time. Although this may seem like the traits of a hormonal pregnant woman, it can happen to anyone of us. This may be a problem for those who don’t like showing their emotions. Being transparent with what we are feeling makes us feel vulnerable. Vulnerability makes us feel insecure and fearful of people discovering our truth. In an attempt to hide our true feelings, we put on an act.

I hate two-faced people. It’s so hard to decide which face to slap first. Continue reading

What Does It Mean When Time Seems to Be Moving Faster?

You sit and look at the clock embracing the time you are investing in this moment. With a positive intention, you welcome all that is coming your way understanding that it’ll be done soon. You keep yourself distracted from the boredom you feel by doodling on a piece of paper. As you feel entertained, you look at the clock to count down the last remaining minutes of your time commitment. Like a horse kick to the stomach you realize it’s only been 5 minutes! In frustration, you think to yourself, “This is going to be a long and dreadful day.”

We’ve all had those times where we felt that time stood still. If time is moving at all, it seems to be moving backwards! This creates such emotional agony. It brings forth feelings of anxiety, impatience, and frustration. We’d rather be anywhere but here. The sound of the clock ticking away makes you feel like a ticking time bomb ready to explode! “Well what in the heck happened to my red bike with the silver bell?!”

So often we feel that the laws of attraction are breaking their own laws when it comes to delivering the goods we requested. The reason we may feel this way is because we are holding a strong attachment the image of what we want that we fail to take notice to the riches that come our way in other forms. It’s this determined focus that causes us the emotional and energetic detriment. Continue reading

Babies and the elderly seem to have the most relaxed lives; they nap whenever they want! When I’m tired I often fight myself to stay up. Many of us think to ourselves that we need to get work done or that we’re wasting time sleeping. In truth, having a nap is the best thing you can do, and the benefits go beyond the physiological reasons!

“I ain’t no baby nor am I old! I don’t need no nap!” Continue reading

The Universe Has Better Plans For You

We all have visions for a bright future. As we think of all the different things and experiences we want in our life we develop an attachment to those images. But life has showed us over and over again, that things don’t always pan out in the manner we had planned. This is ok, because the bad has its own way of ironing itself out

“I need an industrial-sized iron to iron out the kinks I’ve had in my life!”

We often attach ourselves to the things we have become so familiar with. We take ownership of such things, thinking that it becomes a part of who we are. Typically, we are able to have some amount of control over the things that are part of us and our identity. The visions that the mind presents to us, is something that at times is beyond our control.
