Spiritual Insights on Your Everyday Troubles

“Everything I Thought I Was & What I Came to Be”

Your heart pounds your chest like a jackhammer on a construction site. The jackhammer pierces through the cement breaking it up into small pieces. This is no different from what you are experiencing with the anxiety you are feeling right now. Every bit of you seems to be breaking up into smaller pieces. The strength, direction and state of peace you once had carried is long gone. You look around at others observing their happiness and contentment within themselves and the lives they live, and wonder why you can’t feel the same.

How is it that happiness evades you while others are able to live so wondrously? How are you any different? These questions only make you feel the agony of your situation even more. You start to marinate in self-resentment. You look at yourself as being some sort of defect with no chance for growth or improvement. Despite these internal reflections of yourself, you still seek to fight. You are not going to give up this easily! There’s this deeply seeded desire to find your way out of this madness and discover your true potential. You refuse to accept defeat and you refuse to believe that you are anything less than the next person!

These are thoughts that many of us will experience in our lives. There comes a time where we may feel as if success and ultimate joy and satisfaction of oneself eludes us. As many of us go through these challenging times, we may take different methods for finding salvation. Many people will try to mask these feelings through social interaction, alcohol, or prescription or recreational drugs. Author Paul Nijar took a different method for overcoming those challenges he faced. For all the negativity, frustration, anger, depression and the lack of self-worth he had in his life, he looked toward his journal. Through writing in his journal, he found many different perspectives and tools he was able to utilize to help him find salvage from his issues. Author Paul now seeks to share those insights as they played out in his journal, with everyone who finds themselves struggling with different challenges in their lives.

BookCover“Everything I Thought I Was & What I Came to Be” is a compelling glimpse into the journey of a young soul finding his way. At any point in one’s life, they can find themselves being confused, depressed, or lost. The way one handles their emotional state varies from being to being. Paul took an ideal approach towards putting himself back on the path he had stumbled off of.

This is a look into one young man’s journey towards regaining his footing towards his path in life and discovering and connecting with his inner being. With the use of his personal journal, he coached himself into creating the ideal mindset he required to proceed in his life with direction. The journal entries were written like a conversation with someone else that was trying to convince Paul of a different perspective on a situation. As the pages of the journal became filled, Paul would start to open himself up to his heart and nature, understanding that we are all highly spiritual beings. In the process of his writing, he became to understand his journey and process in life. Through each entry in his journal, a spiritual transformation was taking place.

This book is a compilation of all the thoughts, all the struggles and lessons that he has gathered over the years through reading, writing and speaking with people that inspired him. It serves as a reminder and a guided plan on how to maintain the spiritual awareness he needs to keep from straying off his spiritual path. The intent of the book is to remind us all that all our lives have a divine purpose. With the lessons learned from his journey, he seeks to share his knowledge of love and life with everyone who may find themselves stuck with the same negative outlook and self-resentment that he did. This book will inspire you to know and cherish yourself as you are already that celestial being you seek to become.
